    Abstract

This study empirically analyzed the settlement perception that immigrants had based on Korean-Chinese living in Seoul and Gyeonggi area in order to establish the correct settlement policy in the age of low fertility and aging society. As a result of analyzing the difference between each group it seemed that the greater the satisfaction of the living environment and the participation of the community were, the higher the intention of the settlement. In terms of the result of analysis, it is necessary to give the immigrants the proper settlement education for their real life adaptation on the Korean society by the stay length and the sphere of immigrants. In order for them to make a sense of belonging through and contribute to the local community as immigrants, the study is suggesting the necessity to develop and implement a manual of Social Integration Support Policy.
